A Professional Alternative to Shaving
Professional Waxing for Men
BareWolf® provides professional waxing designed around male hair, male skin and the areas men commonly want treated—from the back, shoulders and chest to intimate areas.
Your therapist will assess the treatment area, hair and skin before selecting the most appropriate waxing method.
WHY men choose waxing
Flexible Hair Removal Without Laser
Waxing removes hair from the root, giving you a longer-lasting result than shaving. How long the result lasts varies according to the area, hair-growth cycle and individual client.
Waxing can be particularly useful when:

You want hair removed without beginning a laser program

Your hair is blonde, grey, red or too light for effective laser hair removal

Hair grows over a tattoo, where laser hair removal cannot be performed

You want an area treated for an event, holiday or personal preference

You prefer waxing as part of your regular grooming routine
Where laser is unsuitable, BareWolf will explain the alternatives rather than simply turning you away.
HOT WAX
For Sensitive and Intimate Areas
Hot wax is commonly used on smaller, more sensitive or densely haired areas. It sets around the hair and is removed without a fabric strip.
Depending on your skin, hair and treatment area, it may be used for:
- Intimate waxing
- Underarms
- Face and neck
- Smaller or more sensitive areas
STRIP WAX
Efficient Coverage for Larger Areas
Strip wax is generally suited to larger treatment areas where efficient, even coverage is important.
It may be used for:
- Back and shoulders
- Chest and stomach
- Arms and legs
- Other larger body areas
Your therapist may use one method or a combination of both. You do not need to decide before your appointment.
men’s intimate waxing
Professional. Private. Judgment-Free.
BareWolf has treated men since 2011, including thousands of intimate-area treatments.
Our therapists understand that intimate waxing requires clear communication, professional technique and an environment where you can feel comfortable.
We will explain what is included, how to position yourself and what to expect before treatment begins. You remain in control throughout the appointment.
what intimate waxing includes
Coverage Confirmed Before Treatment
Intimate waxing is available for suitable areas around the groin, pubic area, buttocks, buttock crease and perianal area.
BareWolf does not wax the penis shaft or scrotum.
Exact coverage will be confirmed privately with your therapist before treatment, based on the service booked, your hair growth, skin condition and comfort.

Do Not Shave Before Your Appointment
Wax needs enough hair to grip effectively.
As a general guide, allow the hair to grow to approximately 5–10 millimetres. This may mean waiting around two to three weeks after shaving, although growth rates vary.
If you are unsure whether the hair is long enough, leave it as it is. Your therapist can assess it and trim it if required.
Before your appointment:

Arrive with clean, dry skin

Avoid applying heavy oils, creams or body products to the area

Avoid waxing sunburnt, broken or significantly irritated skin

Tell us about medications, allergies, active skincare or recent treatments

BareWolf Aftercare Essentials valued at $90

Let us know if you are prone to ingrown hairs, bruising, skin lifting or pigmentation changes
When waxing may need to be postponed
Your therapist may change or postpone treatment if the area has:

Sunburn, broken skin or open wounds

An active infection, rash or significant irritation

A recent peel, laser treatment or other resurfacing procedure

Recently used topical retinoids or other products affecting skin sensitivity

A condition or medication that may affect skin integrity or healing

Looking for a professional clinic where men are the focus—not an afterthought
(*) Disclose anything relevant before treatment. If you are uncertain, contact the clinic before attending.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your therapist will cleanse and prepare the area before applying the selected wax.
You will feel a brief pulling sensation as the wax is removed. Sensitivity varies according to the area, hair density and individual tolerance.
Temporary redness, tenderness or small follicular bumps can occur after waxing and will usually settle. Less common risks can include bruising, skin lifting, burns, infection, ingrown hairs or pigment changes.
Your therapist will explain the risks relevant to your skin and treatment area.
AFTERCARE
Protect the Area While It Settles
For the first 24–48 hours—or as directed by your therapist—avoid:
- Hot showers, saunas, spas and steam rooms
- Intense exercise and excessive sweating
- Swimming and chlorinated water
- Fragranced products, harsh soaps and active skincare on the area
- Tight clothing or friction against freshly waxed skin
- Scratching, picking or aggressive exfoliation
- Excessive sun exposure
Once the skin has settled, gentle and regular exfoliation may help reduce ingrown hairs. Your therapist will recommend when to begin and which aftercare products are appropriate.
(*) If you experience an unexpected or persistent reaction, contact BareWolf for guidance. Seek medical care for severe or concerning symptoms.
