Professional Exfoliation for Rough, Congested or Tired-Looking Skin
Microdermabrasion for Men — Belfield
Dead skin, excess oil, shaving and product build-up can leave men’s skin feeling rough and looking dull.
Microdermabrasion is a professional mechanical exfoliation treatment that removes surface build-up and dead skin cells. It is a straightforward option for men wanting smoother, fresher-looking skin without choosing a more intensive resurfacing treatment.
SUITABLE FOR
Microdermabrasion may be recommended for:

Dull or tired-looking skin

Dry or flaky surface skin

Rough surface texture

General skin maintenance

Mild congestion and blackheads

Men wanting professional exfoliation before an event

Excess oil and product build-up

Skin that feels difficult to manage with homecare alone
Microdermabrasion primarily treats the skin’s surface. It is not intended to correct deep acne scarring, significant pigmentation or established wrinkles.
TECHNOLOGY WE USE
How Microdermabrasion Works
Your therapist uses a professional microdermabrasion handpiece to exfoliate the outermost layer of dead skin while controlled suction removes loosened debris.

Improve the feel of rough skin

Remove accumulated surface build-up

Leave the complexion looking fresher

Improve the appearance of mild congestion

Prepare the skin for selected professional products

Support an ongoing skin-maintenance routine
The treatment intensity is adjusted according to your skin condition, sensitivity and treatment goals.
YOUR TREATMENT JOURNEY

The handpiece is passed systematically across the treatment area using pressure and suction appropriate for your skin.
04
optional treatment additions
Depending on your treatment and skin needs, your therapist may recommend additional treatments, products or aftercare *
05

The skin is finished with suitable hydration and protection. Your therapist explains how to care for the area following treatment.

which treatment suits you?
Microdermabrasion, Aqua Facial or Skin Needling?
The most intensive treatment is not automatically the most appropriate one. BareWolf will recommend the option that fits your skin, concern, recovery tolerance and goals.
Microdermabrasion
A surface exfoliation treatment for roughness, dullness and mild build-up.
Aqua Facial
Combines fluid-based exfoliation, suction, extraction and hydration. It may be more appropriate when congestion and dehydration need to be addressed together.
Skin Needling
A collagen-remodelling treatment used for more established concerns such as selected acne scarring, enlarged-looking pores and uneven texture.
YOUR TREATMENT
What Does It Feel Like?
Most clients describe a light scratching, polishing or suction sensation.
Sensitivity varies according to the area and treatment intensity. Your therapist will monitor your skin and comfort throughout the appointment.
RECOVERY
Temporary redness, tightness, dryness or sensitivity can occur after Microdermabrasion. This is generally a lower-recovery treatment than Skin Needling or Fractora, but individual reactions vary.
Avoid assuming your skin will have no visible response. If you are booking before an event, allow sufficient time to see how your skin settles—particularly if it is your first treatment.
How often should i book
Microdermabrasion can be booked as:
- An occasional professional refresh
- Preparation before an event
- Part of an ongoing skin-maintenance routine
- A component of a personalised combination plan
Treatment frequency depends on your skin, sensitivity, goals and response. Your therapist will recommend an appropriate schedule.
WHEN treatment may need to be postponed
Microdermabrasion may not be suitable where there is:
- Active infection
- Open wounds or broken skin
- Active cold sores
- Significant irritation or inflammation
- Recent sunburn
- Certain active skin conditions
- Recent procedures that have not fully healed
- A medical condition or implanted device that affects suitability
- Medication or medical history affecting skin sensitivity
Tell your therapist about medications, medical conditions, recent procedures and changes to your skin before treatment.
