How Laser Hair Removal Works
Laser energy targets pigment in the hair follicle to reduce future growth. Because hair grows in cycles, a course of treatments is required. The number and timing of sessions vary by area, hair, skin type, hormones and individual response.
Laser is most effective on pigmented hair. It does not effectively treat blonde, white, grey or red hair, and it cannot be used directly over tattoos. Where laser is unsuitable, BareWolf can offer waxing as an alternative.
BareWolf uses two premium dual-wavelength laser platforms. The device, wavelength and settings are selected according to your skin, hair, treatment area and response.
Lumenis SPLENDOR X
Available at Sydney CBD and Belfield.
SPLENDOR X uses Lumenis BLEND X® technology, synchronising 755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelengths in an adjustable blend. This gives our therapists added flexibility when treating different skin tones, including Fitzpatrick skin types I–VI.
Its patented square spot supports even, edge-to-edge coverage and helps reduce overlaps and missed areas commonly associated with circular spots. With square spot sizes up to 27 × 27 mm, it can also treat larger male body areas efficiently.

Lutronic CLARITY II
Currently available at Belfield.
CLARITY II is a powerful 755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG dual-wavelength platform. Unlike SPLENDOR X’s adjustable synchronised blend, CLARITY II allows the therapist to select the appropriate wavelength and tailor a wide range of parameters to the client’s assessed skin, suitable pigmented hair and treatment area.
Its high power, rapid repetition rates, large spot options, IntelliTrak™ coverage technology, temperature sensing and skin cooling support fast, controlled treatment across a broad range of skin types.

There is no single machine or setting that is ideal for every man. Having both platforms gives our therapists more options to personalise treatment without compromising safety, comfort or coverage.
